Community Clean-Up Day!!
I cannot believe the awesome support we have received from the Carmel community. So many neighbors came out on Saturday to support up and help clean-up the yard. Since the house and property have been left for about 5 years there has been a lot of plants and trees that have over grown the yard. Thanks to everyone that helped. And thanks to my brother-in-law who loaned us his landscaping trailer to haul it all away.
It looks awesome so far, but we do have some more work to do. I will keep you posted on the progress.
On a side note...
While we were working we got a huge surprise! A lovely girl showed up to help and she told us that she is a McShane descendant! It was great to talk to her and I think I have met a great person to help. We have a lot in common (we both have Irish blood, we both went to school for art, and we love this old house).
